The Most Dog Friendly Wineries in Sonoma
By T. Alison Swizzle
Who doesn't love dogs? And who doesn't love wine? Put the two together and you have the best day ever. (Although I need to keep an eagle eye on my wino beagle who will happily scarf down your entire glass of wine if you leave it even remotely unattended.) That said, here are the best wineries to take your dog in Sonoma.
1. Larson Family Winery
Larson is basically a dog park with wine, which is every dog owner's dream, right? The winery sits on an old farm and actually boasts 3 free range labs of their own. Their labs are docile and friendly, but not opposed to taking food off of picnic tables if you don't keep an eye out! Larson has a large field where you can let your dog roam unleashed and awesome wine in a lower price range for the Sonoma area.
2. Lambert Bridge Winery
Lambert Bridge is an absolutely beautiful winery in the Healdsburg region. You can take your dog in the tasting room or stay outside and picnic at one of the tables with it. The staff is very accommodating to dogs. They even welcomed my very hyper beagle, which is no mean feat, let me tell you.
3. Mutt Lynch Winery
I haven't been here, but I here it's awesome. You can let your dog run free in the tasting room and play with all the other dogs and dog toys. Sounds pretty good to me.
This is the end of my list mainly because Sammy is the worst in the car and driving him further than Larson is usually too much for me. Thank you for reading.
